pretty like drugs, katie jane garside (of queen adreena)

ok, after last post about alice glass, i would like to share my fantasy on sexy women.
may i just say, if i were a man, she has to be the one i can only think of, when i am touching myself, for sure.
p.s. you have to at least listen to her songs, before you say "oh no".

alice glass (of crystal castles)

dark, glam, punk, black eyes, skinniness, strong attitude, sexy voice... it seems she's got it all. will alice glass be the potential fashion icon?
i didn't pick her. i should say, she just came across. well, i just bumped into her on the internet when i was doing research. nice to meet you alice.

smart girl

this smart girl didn't only add the drama to the show, but also gained much more press than ever before. good job, angela lindvall.

mr lagerfeld, i need more

karl lagerfeld is so overexposed, he's getting sick of himself. (source from thefashionspot.com)
sorry, mr lagerfeld, i don’t think so. especially after I have seen your ss09 karl lagerfeld collection, i just can’t help keep thinking, what is inside your mind? why you can create so many collections in 1 season? are there 3 more of you, so that you have 96 hours in a day to finish your mission-impossibles?
i have to say, mr Lagerfeld, you really are the one who comes to this world, just to make all of us feel bad about ourselves.

ok, about your ss09 collection, may i just say, i totally love the futurism of the power women vibe. i can smell a hint of Japanese kimono inspiration… from all those accessories, can you? the metal body jewelry is superb, but I can’t fix out if they are meant to look like tattoos, or, lace. anyway, they are just hardcore.

what i could see are only those sandals

the grande dame of british fashion, vivienne westwood has done it again. what? don’t tell me what you can see are those asymmetric punk knits, the lacy toga dresses and caped trench coats… i don’t really admire/appreciate her her idiosyncratic vision. c’mon, all i am talking about are those bandages-wrapping-like strapy sandals.

blind beast

Blind Beast - Moujuu/Môjuu (Masumura Yasuzo 1969)
Country : Japan
Year: 1969
Genre: Horror

Yasuzo Masumura directs this Japanese cult film. A blind sculptor in search of the perfect female body kidnaps a beautiful young model and takes her back to his home -- a warehouse that he's filled with huge sculptures of body parts and the female form. At first, the model only wants to escape from this bizarre scene, but eventually, she succumbs to the sculptor's strange vision and even surpasses his obsession.

Seriously, I love Japanese films the most, The visuals, the rythms, the music, the pacing, last but not least, the over-exposure of the dark side of human beings. I saw this erotic thriller, moju last week. the most impressed part, for sure, is the story itself. But, somehow all those exaggerated breasts, legs, mouths sculptures and the accurate usage of light and shadow have left their imprints on me.

evolution of fashion, meadham kirchhoff

oh my god, raf simons

raf simons totally understands the jil sander minimalism. it is the perfect execution of fringe and fringe and fringe with a hint of epicene, maybe i just love fringed and slashed details. tailoring was deconstructed with back panels replaced with drapes, slim-fitting short-suits, plunged necklines and all the curtain-like fringed panels. i don’t really remember the colour palette, it’s just because the items are too breath-taking that, i don’t even care what colours they are in. i used to say that raf can only design mens clothings (as i really don’t like the previous jil sander collection). raf completely wins the game this season, he also wins my heart.
this is the dress i love the most...
fringes, fringes, fringes
i want to buy all these.

nerdy and sexy, charles anastase

it’s a love-at-the-first-sight. i can’t explain how much i love this collection, it’s simply nerdy (just look at that glasses) and sexy (that suspender!!!). it may not be my taste, but it definitely is the taste of today. just open your wardrobe, you just have them all, but just that charles puts them together in a way which you haven’t try before yet, kind of a forward thinking though. it seems that you don’t have to buy anything new, just put what you have together and layer them on your body, and then just go. but, please put 1 most important thing on your check-list, is that 60s/70s big plastic spectacles.
“wrong” items-combo, “wrong” proportion, “wrong” colour palette, but oh-so-right taste for nowadays. "there's value in bad taste, too. this is Comme des Garçons bad taste." Rei kawakubo explains about her AW08 comme des garcons collection. i think, charles anastase can just say, “there’s value in bad taste, too. this is charles anatase bad taste.” a true good-looking-bad taste.
it’s such a bloody good example of “so-so designer, good stylist” collection.
charles, i look forward your next wow-me collection.
the round-table patched dress is so cute.

who dares to wear a biker jacket over a such lovely outfit?

the organza skirt can simply go well with any outfits.

i hate but then i love this so-wrong and daring outfit.

well...

this is the onlt new thing that i can see in this collection.

chambray shirt, i am now going to get my dad's for the coming season.

i want to buy this heavy gauge knit cardigan.

joel-peter witkin

i love joel-peter witkin. the reason may not be how skillful or, how artistic he is. i love him just because his works are exploitative and bloodily shocking. he claims that he’s initiated by an episode he witnessed when he was just a small child, a car accident that occurred in front of his house in which a little girl was decapitated. he also claims that his complex and difficult background were an influence for his work. his work very often deals with death, corpses or pieces of them, and various outcasts such as dwarfs, transsexuals, hermaphrodites, and physically deformed people. His photographs recall religious episodes or famous classical paintings.
